Everton 2 Spurs 1

We travelled to Goodison park with the hope of picking up another 3 points after a successful Christmas period. After keeping two clean sheets on the trot, we were hoping for another one away from home.

The start we wanted didnt happen and in the 3rd minute of the game Saha made it 1-0 to the home side. With a 25yard long range shot it went past Gomes and hit the back of the net.

We created a few chances with play between Crouch and Van der Vaart before our efforts paid off. Great control from Modric centrally, delayed and delayed pass wide to Hutton to give the full-back maximum time and room to cross, Hutton crossed to far post where Crouch headed back for van der Vaart to power home his header from six yards. Everton 1 Spurs 1.

The chances continued to flow for both sides and just before the half time whistle Bale intercepted Heintinga's pass, squared for Crouch who slotted home - offside flag straight up.

Half time: Everton 1 Spurs 1

The second half was one less than desired for our travelling fans. We created few chances and were second to every ball. Our attacking midfield of Lennon, Jenas, Modric and Bale didnt prove difficult for Everton to play to and created plently of chances for themselves to win the match, in which they did.

With just 15 minutes to go Coleman made it 2-1. A quick break from the home side, Saha turned onto his left foot, decent strike saved by Gomes to his left but Coleman there to nod home rebound. Everton 2 Spurs 1.

The second half saw Kranjcar and Keane take to the field but still we couldnt find the back of the net.
